About Me
Hello and welcome to my writing blog.
My ambition is to be a writer. I’m not sure why I want to write, I can feel a different reason for doing so each day. Sometimes it’s for the love of words and weaving them together, other times because I cannot stand my job and need a different income, other times it’s a good excuse to explore what interests me and other times because I have an Oscar acceptance speech planned in my head and want to try it out on a Hollywood audience.
Everyone speaks of the urge to write, but my urges come and go unpredictably, so I have to learn the discipline of writing without urges each day and every day, getting better at it through practice. I hope that keeping this blog will provide an incentive for me to write more.
